July 2021 Options Income Report $1,075

Hi traders and investors.

Last July I decided to start over and I sold all my positions, both stocks, and options. A fresh clean start over.

I decided to sell credit spreads and reinvest premium into dividend stocks. You could read more here: Start Over - Options Trading

Without further ado,

The last July, I did a total of 10 trades / from which all were credit spreads.

I managed to take $1,075 from options income during the month of July, which is about 2.68% of my $40,000 goal for 2021.

Last month I was trading credit spreads on FCEL, NKLA, CLNE, SDC, and ACB stocks. When constructing trade I’m looking to allocate about $3,000-$7,000 per trade.

None of the contracts have expired yet, so I will be pretty slow with opening new trades in August.

I’m looking to open 2-3 new trades per week, but there might be weeks I will make just 1 trade.

Dividend income

My dividend income portfolio value now is $1,166, which generates about $4.08 (monthly dividend income. The current annual yield is about 4.20%

Here are all of my holdings (as of August 1, 2021)

Trading plan for August 2021 (Option trades & Stock Buys)

This month I’m going to reinvest 50% from the options income in 5 following stocks - PFE, AWP, INTC, ARCC, and WBA. I will keep investing in these stocks once will reach at least 100 shares for each of the tickers.

Once I will have at least 100 shares I will start selling covered calls to generate additional income.

For the month of August, I’m looking to sell mostly credit spreads and a few covered calls, most probably on FCEL and NKLA stocks, as it seems I’m going to get assignments for both FCEL and NKLA in the month of August

From covered calls/credit spreads - I’m looking to take ~ $1,400 during the month of August.
